Hi I’m Jen. I adore creating the most revitalising retreats. Where you can take time out, just for you, to rest and reset.
I’ve taught Shine Yoga retreats all over the world for 10 years. And I’ve seen again and again how rejuvenating and transformative they can be…
And this retreat is so exciting for me! I can’t wait to share such a special weekend (in one of my absolute places in the whole-wide-world) with you.
In the retreat sessions I’ll be utilising my 12 years of yoga teaching experience… Weaving together the most effective and uplifting yoga practices. From vinyasa flow to yin and restorative, guided relaxations and breathwork.
My yoga teaching style is warm and encouraging. My yoga classes are accessible, fun and feel-good. So you can listen to your body and use your yoga practice to help you release stress and tension.
You’ll cultivate calm, positivity and contentment. And step off of your mat relaxed and glowing.
“I feel so pampered and energised, inspired and relaxed!”
With the dynamic yoga classes and Jen’s delicious plant based recipes paired with the stunning surroundings and cosy yurts it was the perfect retreat. Can’t wait until next time!

You can look forward to four yoga sessions over the weekend. I’ll be teaching a mix of uplifting vinyasa flow yoga and slower, soothing yin & restorative practices. You’ll float out of each class feeling invigorated and rejuvenated.
You don’t need to be be able to do headstands or touch your toes in a forward fold to join the retreat. In fact you can be totally new to yoga.
The weekend is about so much more than improving your flexibility, or strength, or balancing in crow pose. Although you might well do all those things!
It’s really about taking time for yourself and getting back to feeling your best. Releasing stress and tension that’s been holding you back or draining you.
Revitalising your body and mind with deep rest and relaxation. As well as loads of fun, enjoyment and adventure. So you can leave the retreat feeling fully yourself and thriving!
“As a yoga novice I was unsure what to expect but oh my goodness what a fantastic experience was in store.”
Great atmosphere, wonderful food, yoga I could undertake at my own pace / level and of course Jen was delightful. I have even changed some bad habits since the weekend! In a word, wonderful.

We’ll be staying on the south coast of Cornwall, close to Fowey and down the road from hidden coves and secluded sandy beaches.
There’s crystal clear water to dive into. And winding coastal paths to hike along and take in the jaw-dropping views. We’ll be off the beaten track, in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty.
And there’s nothing like a dip in the ocean to boost your endorphins and get you glowing. Or an hour sat on the warm sand watching the waves to help you completely switch off, reset and feel refreshed.
“I have come away feeling totally relaxed and very content.”
Sumptuous food, ‘magical’ digs, excellent teaching and wonderful company. Not to mention breathtaking coastal walks, icy dips, stunning hot-tub vistas over the rolling hills… I couldn’t have wished for a more perfect few days.

Stay in a gorgeous yurt. They’re the ultimate in luxury glamping. Each one contains a double bed and single futons. As well as flowers from the garden, beautiful bed spreads, fairy lights, cushions and colourful rugs.
The wood-burning stove will keep you warm on cooler evenings. And the bathrooms with hot showers are a short stroll away.
Travelling on your own? You can choose to stay in your own yurt or room. Or pair/team up with another solo traveller or two in a yurt for 2 or 3.
There are also 3 rooms in the cosy and comfy Long Barn. It’s the perfect place to relax, slow down and recharge.
“I honestly left feeling like a different person!!! Re-energised! “
Feel amazing after all the yoga, learning to breathe properly during the classes, wonderful food, location etc ensured the weekend was as relaxed as possible. Already feel more focused (enjoying the moment and just feeling grateful). I have taken so much away from Jen’s teaching and outlook on life. Not to mention some new friends and terrific recipes.

“Had such a special and restorative weekend”
The food was fantastic and has inspired me to get creative again, the yoga was so great, so nice to have the time to work on poses and try new things, and all with the help of new friends I feel inspired to practice more at home now, to work in a more meditative way. Jen’s energy was so radiant and welcoming, Shine is the perfect name for it!

” I’m a happy yogi bunny after this weekend and I’ve made new friends for life.”
An incredible weekend. Every thought made it a wonderful retreat experience, from the location to the teaching, the food and all the little bits like the chakra balancing aromatherapy oils, eye pillows and inspiring readings. Jen’s personality is so naturally welcoming and her energy sublime, it set a natural tone for the weekend and I can personally say I felt truly at ease with myself the whole weekend. I feel really inspired to carry on with what I’ve achieved this weekend in yoga.

“I have learnt so much this weekend, not just the yoga but the lovely food and recipes too, I never knew eating healthily could be so delicious!”
The location was really special. It was so peaceful (apart from our constant laughter!) we felt completely relaxed and at ease to be ourselves without judgement. I also loved feeding the animals on the farm and was only disappointed I was not able to take Larry the sheep home!
Jen, your food was amazing. The way the day was split between yoga, free time and dining was perfect.
We had a wonderful time on Fowey shopping in the little boutique shops and went to a beautiful beach – you have to try the blackberry ice-cream at Talland Bay! I have recommended this retreat to all my friends and colleagues and will definitely be coming to another!

Jen really does put her heart and soul into planning the weekends perfectly, the sessions were wonderfully varied and tailored to the time of day and length of the weekend. Jen is a wonderful instructor, she is patient, encouraging, has a lovely soothing voice and encourages a bit of a sense of humour!
Her cooking is really impressive, everything was delicious and super satisfying, my skin and digestion are still reaping the benefits and I’ll definitely be trying some of the recipes at home!
I had a fab, fab time.
