You won’t believe how good it feels to practice yoga outside, right next to the sea in Newquay! Join me at our beautiful ocean front location at Lusty Glaze beach to experience beach yoga with the most breathtaking view.
Get ready to relax, wind down and stretch out beside the sea. It’s an unforgettable experience.
Classes are suitable for all levels including total beginners. There will be lots of different options so you can do just what feels good for you. The class is relaxed and fun and all about enjoying being outside beside the sea and taking time to relax, breathe deeply and energise.

If it’s really cold, windy or rainy the class will not go ahead. If the class is cancelled you’ll receive an email at least one hour before the class starts to let you know. If the class is cancelled you will of course receive a full refund.

Experience powerful, joyful vinyasa flow yoga classes with energetic and creative sequences and incredible beach yoga classes to slow down, stretch out and rejuvenate beside the ocean in Newquay, Cornwall with Shine Yoga teacher Jen Austin. You’ll strengthen your whole body, increase your flexibility and glow with energy! Yoga classes end with a deep relaxation to leave you peaceful, refreshed and uplifted.

What you’ll experience in a class:
VINYASA FLOW YOGA
Playful, creative and uplifting vinyasa flow yoga. You’ll connect your movements to the rhythm of your breath as you glide fluidly between poses in a moving meditation that will soothe your busy mind, energise your body and allow you to focus inward and become more in tune with your body.
SUPPORT & ENCOURAGEMENT
My teaching style is encouraging, warm, supportive and very smiley! I’ll always offer plenty of options so you can do just what feels right for you whether you are happy in handstand, want to bust out of your comfort zone in your first ever crow pose or slow down and unwind with lots of deep breaths and time in childs pose. As I always say this is YOUR practice, it’s your time for YOU, so we’ll collaborate to create a class that’s exactly what you need.
PRANAYAMA BREATH PRACTICE
Practice simple, accessible and powerful breathing techniques that have the power to regulate your nervous system, helping you to let go of stress, worry and doubt and supporting you in releasing anything that isn’t serving you.
STRENGTHENING & CARDIO FITNESS
Build balanced and functional strength as you work all parts of your body and experience the most fun and uplifting light-intensity cardiovascular workout. Moving with your breath increases your heart rate and generates heat plus there’s the added strength and balance challenge of practicing outside on the sand. Just try looking up at the sky in tree pose and you’ll see what I mean!
DEEP GUIDED RELAXATION
The class will end with a blissful guided relaxation practice. You’ll lie back, listen to the waves and let all tension and stress melt away. You’ll rest deeply, finding ease and comfort, so that you can step off your mat revitalised, calm and feeling your best and most radiant self.
