This Moroccan aubergine and sweet potato stew recipe is one awesome pot of spicy, fragrant, tastebud tantalising deliciousness! It encompasses some of my favourite things about Moroccan cooking; aromatic spices, sweet dried fruit, salty olives, rich nuts and vibrant pomegranate and fresh herbs. Jen's online classes have become one of my highlights of the week. Each class has her own unique chilled out creative style. By the end I am full of energy and have a smile on my face. Jen is one of the best yoga teachers I have had. Her classes are creative and challenging but always approached with a sense of humour and fun. The classes are energising and uplifting, you always have a sense of achievement. Whether it's a clearer mind, or working towards a new pose you have never done before. I love joining the morning classes with the ritual of getting my props ready, unrolling my mat and starting the playlist. It is the perfect start to the day.

I have now been on two of Jen's retreats and I would say that somehow they always seem to 're-set' me. There is something really special about taking time out from day to day life to practice yoga, eat beautiful wholesome food and take time to rest and reflect. Staying so close to the beautiful beach at Mawgan Porth was a real joy for me; I loved waking up to the sound of the sea and what with the coastal path being just minutes from the house, the location was perfect for our wonderful walks. Jen is a fabulous yoga teacher and host and I am already thinking about planning my next retreat 🙂

I have learnt so much this weekend, not just the yoga but the lovely food and recipes too, I never knew eating healthily could be so delicious! The location was really special. It was so peaceful (apart from our constant laughter!) we felt completely relaxed and at ease to be ourselves without judgement. I also loved feeding the animals on the farm and was only disappointed I was not able to take Larry the sheep home! Jen, your food was amazing. The way the day was split between yoga, free time and dining was perfect. We had a wonderful time on Fowey shopping in the little boutique shops and went to a beautiful beach - you have to try the blackberry ice-cream at Talland Bay! I have recommended this retreat to all my friends and colleagues and will definitely be coming to another! Thank you so much for SUCH an enjoyable time and letting us share this time with you. I honestly left feeling like a different person!!! Re-energised! Jen and Jess were simply the best yogi hosts. Feel amazing after all the yoga, learning to breathe properly during the classes, wonderful food, location etc ensured the weekend was as relaxed as possible. An incredible weekend. Every thought made it a wonderful retreat experience, from the location to the teaching, the food and all the little bits like the chakra balancing aromatherapy oils, eye pillows and inspiring readings. Having never done a yoga retreat before I was not sure what to expect! But the week was pure bliss. I'm not a competent yogi and Jen helped me understand how I can use props to complement the practice and enjoy the sessions. And enjoy them I did on the beautiful sun drenched platform, the sounds of nature around us. The setting was perfect for total relaxation and the food and hospitality was fantastic.
